Deprecations:

The DELETE /v2.0/conversations/{sessionId} API method has been deprecated. The removal of the API method is planned for Cognigy.AI 2026.18.0. Use the DELETE /v2.1/conversations/{sessionId} API method instead.
The createKnowledgeSource function has been deprecated. For Knowledge Connectors, use upsertKnowledgeSource to create or update Knowledge Sources that also support knowledge synchronization.

Fixed the issue where Flow execution was reset to the first Entrypoint when simultaneous calls from the same phone number were directed to more than one Flow. The issue affected Endpoints set to a Flow with an Execute Flow Node to handle call events. While the second Flow was executed, the first Flow to receive the call was reset

Features

Knowledge Connector Syncing

Introduced the Knowledge Connector Syncing feature to keep Knowledge Stores synchronized with external content sources, such as CMS or documentation systems. This feature reduces manual maintenance and ensures content consistency. The Confluence Extension 6.0.0 and the Diffbot Extension 2.0.0 include support for synchronization.

MCP Server Endpoint (Experimental)

Introduced the MCP Server Endpoint. It lets external AI clients, such as Claude Desktop and Cursor, discover and call AI Agent tools via the Model Context Protocol (MCP). This feature is experimental and isn’t intended for production use.

Added support for hashing user IDs in the transformers to enhance data protection and support GDPR compliance
Added the Custom Options section to configure a custom model or request parameters for the AI Agent and Search Extract Output Nodes
Updated the evaluateRule function to return a promise, improving reliability in asynchronous workflows
Added the CXone Info section, including the NiCE CXone email address and NiCE CXone ID, to the User Details in the Management UI. The section is displayed only if the user has a NiCE CXone account and the environment is integrated with NiCE CXone

Cognigy Live Agent

Improved the filter behavior in the Conversations list, including correct handling of AND/OR conditions, filter persistence, and folder navigation. The enhanced filter behavior prevents incorrect or missing conversation results

Bug Fixes

Fixed issues with rendering chat components and updated the Live Agent library to align with current Cognigy.AI components, ensuring proper support for complex AI Agent message types and full compatibility with Cognigy.AI outputs
Fixed the issue where human agents with status online didn’t receive email notifications for new messages in assigned conversations, even when the email notifications were activated in the Profile Settings

Removed the GET /v1.0/insights/token-resources API method from the Insights API documentation
