Release Notes for Cognigy.AI 4.71

Release 4.71.0

With Release 4.71.0, we have introduced an incorrect default behavior for how meta-data for Cognigy.AI Handovers are cached. This leads to flaky behavior in Handover sessions for Cognigy.AI in all versions of our 4.71 and 4.72 lineup. Immediately update to the newest patch versions or set the configuration below:

Cognigy.AI

This version solves an issue with an incorrect caching behavior of Cognigy.AI Handovers by deactivating the cache by default. If you are upgrading to this version, the following configuration, which was necessary in the older version of 4.71 is NOT necessary:

If you are not using cognigyLiveAgent.existingSecret in your values local file, then you need to add the helm.sh/resource-policy: keep annotation to the cognigy-live-agent-credentials secret. You can do this by using the following command. Replace <namespace> with the namespace where Cognigy.AI is deployed.

Cognigy Voice Gateway

• Change the default value of .Values.api.enablePrepareCognigyData to true.
  • This change will modify the startup behavior of the API server.
  • The admin user will now have a randomly generated password instead of admin.
  • A user named ‘cognigy-ai’ is being created for Interaction Panel calls.
  • If not already present by that name, a new Service Provider named IP Test Call Manager will be created. Rename your existing service provider, used for the Interaction Panel, to IP Test Call Manager.
  • An API token is created and connected to the new service provider.
