Slack: Rename your bot

This page describes the process of renaming your Slack Bot so that it is displayed in the corresponding Slack Channel.

You can always rename your Bot in the settings of your Slack app. To achieve that go to the Basic Information page of your app and scroll down to the Display Information section.

There you'll find the input field App name where you can enter a new name for your bot (see Figure 1).
